Special permission can be used if you want to take a paper that you don't hold the pre-requisites for, or if you're having issues adding a paper (it doesn't recognise your pre-requisites, you are enrolling in a part-time thesis and need to add the paper again etc) you can use special permission to request an override of any rules in the system. This will need to be approved by the division/paper convener.
Step-by-step guide
To apply for special permission, go to 'Qualifications and Papers' and select 'Complete enrolment'. (Or if you're currently enrolled, you will use "change your enrolment")
